Roald Dahl's advice to writers

Please visit Roald Dahl's website and under Roald Dahl listen to his interview about writing. I think that there was some good advice on his page.on thing that was very useful was that he said that you should not write for a long period of time because th3en you will not be working at your highest level. he also said that you should write about 2 hours and dont get up even if your mind goes blank, just sit there and ideas might just come to your mind.

I think what Roald Dahl said in his interview is important especially in the first question. He said writing is like taking a long walk, which is true, it's a slow and steady process. He gets his ideas in a interesting way, they're like dreams to him and he writes them down soon to be created into something bigger and this is the way things work for most writers also.
